Would you like to be involved in a unique piece of Britain’s Maritime History?
Over the four years, 2007 to 2010, we have been indebted to our band of volunteers whilst the Cambria was being rebuilt.
Now that we are back on the water, we are now looking for more volunteers to help take Cambria forward.
During the winter months between October and March, Cambria winters at Blackwater Marina, Maylandsea, Essex. During this period we need help with a variety of tasks such as painting, cleaning, and minor maintenance to ensure that the barge is ready for the next season.
During the sailing season, Cambria is involved in many static charters and we need people with time to ensure that our visitors embark and disembark safely, show people around and also look after the sales desk which is a vital part of raising Cambria’s operational funds.
If you are interested in joining the Cambria experience as a volunteer, even if it is only to wield a paintbrush, then we would be pleased to hear from you.
